It Started With a Personal Need
Thorough Beauty didn’t begin with a business plan.
It began with one woman’s search for skincare that worked for her own skin while living in Belize’s tropical climate.
That search turned into years of learning from traditional knowledge, researching plants and ingredients, experimenting with formulas, and discovering what worked for her.
More than 14 years later, those personal creations grew into Thorough Beauty — a Belizean plant-based skincare brand inspired by nature, personal experience, and generations of traditional knowledge.

We believe what goes into a product matters.
Our products are created using a combination of plants and botanicals found in Belize together with carefully selected oils, butters, and other skincare ingredients.
Our scents also come naturally from the plants, botanicals, essential oils, and other ingredients used in our formulations — not conventional fragrance oils.
Because we work with natural plant-based ingredients, scents can be subtle and may vary slightly from batch to batch.
